Things I love: Digital Things. Lifestyle Blog Post

I’ll update once and a while when inspiration strikes. Here’s what I am loving these days:

ChatGPT: New to 2023, when this came out I watched about 20 videos of people using it and talking about how they found it very useful. The world as we know it is changing rapidly and I’m choosing to embrace the tech evolution to use it as a time saver and way to amplify the work I’m doing. For example, I am using Chat GPT to help me write blog pairings for my video podcast, using it to write additional web copy, come up with titles, give insight to questions like “give me a sales process for penetration of a new market”

Garyvee YouTube: I love me some Gary Vee. If you are wanting blunt, straight to the point and insightful on sales, marketing, branding, social media, Gary is where it’s at. I love his long form videos, mostly his speaking topics surrounding marketing. He’s the real deal and gives me the perspective that helps me frame marketing for business.

Podcasts: I absolutely love podcasts and feel like such a productive human because I multitask by doing housework, driving, and learning from a podcast. My podcast routine consists of the morning I started listening to the Toast (formerly known as Morning Toast) podcast and I am hooked with these girls. I like feeling like I’m listening in on a gossipy newsy show and like hearing their perspectives on entertainment news. I listen while I put makeup on. Business/entertainment shows I listen to are “Real AF” “Skinny Confidential” “Joe Rogan”

Canva: A design app that makes me a creative designer wizard. I use canva for everything. Flyers, power points, logos, graphics. There’s a paid version which I use, also has a free version.

Invisalign for my teenager: Random but on a personal level my teen was recommended for braces, and our orthodontist in Keller (Shout-out to Just for Grins in Keller) said he would also be a candidate for Invisalign HOWEVER it’s a huge responsibility for Invisalign. My teenager begged me no braces please let me do the Invisalign. Everyone I asked said “do the braces, he’s too young to keep up with Invisalign trays”. Yall. We are half way through Invisalign and he’s rocking it. He’s ahead of schedule and I don’t have to remind him to change his trays, he hasn’t lost one and it’s brought a new responsibility I doubted but he’s crushing it. I’m thankful for the technology and not putting my son through traditional braces.

Flo app: For the ladies. Tracks my cycle, gives insight to daily health things SUCH AS mood swings headaches and things I didn’t realize were associated with my cycle. Very intuitive. This is an app I pay hard earned money for and it’s worth it.

IPhone: throwing this out there but I’m an iPhone user and thankful for it every day. I love taking photos, using my phone to update my website using Squarespace app. It’s amazing.

Netflix: Selling Beverly Hills, any uplifting documentary.

Dirty Chai Lattes: Hot or Iced but have to have a full bodied taste of a latte with whole milk or Half and Half
